VFS Japan Visa Application Centre is a service provided by VFS (Thailand) Limited (hereinafter referred to as VFS)

VFS acts as the Service Provider with the responsibility to receive the Visa applications from an applicant applying for a visa to Japan, an applicant's passport, completed visa form, supporting documentation and the applicable fees. VFS is also responsible for submitting an application to the Embassy of Japan in Bangkok on behalf of an applicant, collect the passport and supporting documents from the Embassy and return the passport back to an applicant by hand delivery.

The Embassy of Japan reserves the right to ask for further documentation.

Note : There are circumstances where in, the Embassy of Japan (Bangkok) will handover the passport & the supporting documents to the Applicants directly.

VFS is not liable for any delay in processing or rejection of the visa application. Whilst every precaution is taken while handling the passport of Applicants and important documents submitted in support there of. If due to unforeseen events and circumstances, the passport and documents may be lost in transit by accident, theft, natural calamities (act of god) or any other reason, VFS will not be liable or responsible in any manner to the Applicant for the same.

It is expressly understood that when the applicant or representative of the applicant submits the passport, the visa form and the supporting documentation along with the applicable fees, the applicant has understood the terms, conditions and details here in. Visa fees once paid by the applicant are only refunded if the Visa is refused by the Embassy of Japan in Bangkok; all other related charges once paid by the applicant are not refundable under any circumstances.

Thailand Post Co. Ltd will only collect visa applications, applicable fees & return passports on behalf of Japan Visa application center, Bangkok (JVAC). Thailand Post Co. Ltd has no authority or influence over the outcome of the application. Applicant is aware that incomplete form, incomplete questionnaire, insufficient documents, incorrect photo, incorrect visa fee submitted may delay the processing time at Japan Visa application center (JVAC) or the Embassy

Advertising material may accompany along the passport and supporting documents back to the applicant. If the applicant does not wish to receive any advertising material along with the passport and supporting documents, the applicant must intimate VFS in advance. Please note that no advertising material sent back with the passport and supporting documents has the endorsement of the Japanese Government.

No employee of VFS may change / amend / amplify the conditions mentioned herein.

This shall be governed, construed and enforced in accordance with Thailand Law. For all claims, disputes of whatsoever nature, the courts in Bangkok shall alone have jurisdiction.
